We are not only a brewery but a 21 bedroom Victorian Grade II Listed hotel as well, which serves as the brewery tap. With 10 hand pulls on the two bars we aim to serve 8 of our own ales, one guest ale and one traditional cider at all times, and are open all day every day except Christmas Day. At the heart of the smallest town in Britain, we have a bit of a reputation for our madcap activities. Ranging from the Man vs. Horse Marathon to the World Bogsnorkelling Championships, from the Mountain Bike Chariot Racing to the Real Ale Ramble, and much more besides, there is often something going on to attract visitors. There are plans to hold “Brewing Weekends” where you can stay at the hotel, learn all about the brewing process, have a practical day brewing, and a case of your brew with personalised labels will be dispatched to your home when it is ready. Oh, and there may be the occasional opportunity to sample some of the wares whilst you are here as well. Keep a look out for the dates once we have got ourselves organised.
